History of Hadoop

Hadoop has been exceptionally made to oversee Big Data. Here we are going to find out about the brief history of Hadoop. Everyone on the planet thinks about Google; it is likely the most prevalent internet searcher in the online world. To give query items to clients Google needed to store colossal measures of information. In the 1990s, Google began looking for approaches to store and process enormous measures of information. Lastly in 2003 they gave the world an imaginative Big Data stockpiling thought called GFS or Google File System; it is a procedure to store information particularly colossal measure of information. In the year 2004 they gave the world another procedure called MapReduce, which is the system for preparing the information that is available in GFS. Furthermore, it can be watched that it took Google 13 years to concoct this imaginative thought of putting away and preparing Big Data and tweaking the thought.

Be that as it may, these strategies have been introduced to the world pretty much as a depiction through white papers. So the world and intrigued individuals have quite recently been furnished with the possibility of what GFS is and how it would store information hypothetically and what MapReduce is and how it would handle the information put away in GFS hypothetically. So individuals had the information of the method, which was only its depiction yet there was no working model or code gave. At that point in the year 2006-07 another significant web index, Yahoo thought of strategies called HDFS and MapReduce in view of the white papers distributed by Google. So at last, the HDFS and MapReduce are the two center ideas that make up Hadoop.

Hadoop was really made by Doug Cutting. Individuals who have some learning of Hadoop realize that its logo is a yellow elephant. So there is an uncertainty in the vast majority's brain of why Doug Cutting has picked such a name and such a logo for his task. There is an explanation for it; the elephant is typical as in it is a decent answer for Big Data. Really Hadoop was the name that originated from the creative energy of Doug Cutting's child; it was the name that the young man provided for his most loved delicate toy which was a yellow elephant and this is the place the name and the logo for the venture have originated from. Therefore, this is the brief history behind Hadoop and its name. Hadoop training is offered by the many of the institutes both offline and online.
